History

The history of the Faoflex SRL weaves with the economic history of Segusino.

A village of farmers up to the second world war, in the immediate postwar period becomes point of important reference in the sector of the occhialeria thanks to the creation of the Filos Piave, wanted from the captain Zancaner, an entrepreneur of the zone.

It is in here, in 1957, that begins to work Giannantonio Zanella founder of the Faoflex SRL. Before as worker and then as model maker.

After a brief experience in another firm of the zone, the ModaSolaris, decides that the times are mature to go on his way.

In 1974, together with his wife Lea De Rui and business partner Fabio Stramare, he founds Faoflex SRL.

In the first years the firm was based in a shed in the Via Santa Lucia but in 1986 it was moved in Via della Centa, in the industrial estate, where it still works nowadays.
